Introduction

Twin Screw Pumps are rotary, positive displacement pumps with capability of handling various clean liquids without containing solids. The pump is made of two sets of opposed screws. During pump running, the screws on the two shafts are engaged, and form sealed cavity with the surrounding pump casing. The pumped liquid are shifted axially as the screw shafts turn and steadily and constantly conveyed to the center of the pump where the discharge port is located. Since hydraulic forces on two screws are opposite and equal, the hydraulic axial stress on shafts are automatically balanced.


Application areas of Twin Screw Pump








Oil industry: Transfer pumps for various lubricants, hydraulic oils, crude oils, residual oils, heavy oils, diesel, gasoline and rubbers, etc.

Oil field: Transfer for various oil products, sewages, waste oils, polymers and crude oils. ⊙Ship building industry: Transfer pumps for various light or heavy fuel oils, waste oils, dirty oils and sewages, oily sludge in cabin's bottom, also as pressure boost pumps and ballast pumps.

Chemical industry: transfer or filling pumps for various acid salt solutions, resins, glycerin, paraffin, or various cosmetic emulsion mediums.

Paint industry: deliver printing inks, pigments, and various paints and coatings.

Food industry: deliver media with high viscosity such as alcohol, beverage, honey, sugar juice, toothpaste, milk, cream, soy souse, animal oil, vegetable oil, and chocolate.

Traffic industry: load and unload oil goods for oil stations or tanks, also as dispensing pumps and fueling pumps.

Single Screw Pump




Single screw pump is a kind of progressive cavity pump. The main pumping elements comprises of a single external helix rotor and a double internal helix stator. As the metallic rotor planet moves within the elastomer stator, the constant and continuous cavities are formed and progressed axially, and thus the fluid is steadily carried from the suction to the discharge end of the pump without turbulence, agitation or pulsation.
